SimulArk Grid
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-27 ยท Version 2026-05-27.1
This Privacy Policy explains how SimulArk collects, uses, stores, protects, and discloses personal and technical data when operating the SimulArk portal, OpenSimulator grid, Hypergrid access, regions, inventory, economy, support, abuse handling, and related services. The English version is the controlling version.
1. Operator and Contact
SimulArk is operated by Cristiano Miguel Dos Santos Alexandre. The legal and privacy contact is admin@simulark.xyz. The stated operating address is Massachusetts, USA.
2. Data We May Process
Depending on how you use SimulArk, we may process avatar name, UUID, account email, password hashes, account status, login history, IP address received by the server, viewer name/channel/version, origin grid, home URI, Hypergrid access records, policy acceptance records, technical tokens, inventory metadata, group data, transaction records, region access records, chat or report evidence submitted to staff, support requests, abuse reports, security logs, web portal logs, and error logs.
When a viewer or Robust provides identifiers such as Mac/Id0, SimulArk stores them in the Hypergrid access table as irreversible cryptographic hashes, not as clear text. These hashes are used for security, abuse detection, ban evasion detection, and related-account analysis.
3. Purposes
- To create, approve, administer, secure, and support accounts.
- To operate login, teleports, Hypergrid access, regions, inventory, groups, profiles, economy, and viewer services.
- To prevent bots, copybot, fraud, malicious scripts, attacks, harassment, ban evasion, and technical abuse.
- To investigate reports, intellectual property complaints, security incidents, chargebacks, and policy violations.
- To maintain backups, diagnose errors, improve stability, perform migrations, and protect infrastructure.
- To comply with legal obligations, valid legal requests, payment processor requirements, and regulatory duties where applicable.
4. OpenSimulator and Hypergrid
OpenSimulator and Hypergrid require technical data to move between services, simulators, and grids. When you enter SimulArk from another grid, SimulArk may receive and log information needed for teleport, identity, presence, security, and policy acceptance. When you leave SimulArk for another grid, technical information may be transmitted to that destination grid, whose own privacy practices may apply.
5. Sharing
SimulArk does not sell personal data and does not provide personal data for third-party marketing. Data may be shared only with technical providers needed to operate the service, payment processors where applicable, competent authorities or valid legal requests, or where necessary to protect SimulArk, users, creators, third parties, or infrastructure against abuse, fraud, security incidents, or unlawful activity.
6. Retention and Deletion
Personal data tied to an avatar account is retained while the account remains active. After account deletion, active account data will be deleted or anonymized within up to 90 days, except where longer retention is necessary for security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, legal obligations, backups, chargebacks, disputes, audit, or legal defense.
Backups may retain deleted data for a longer technical cycle and may not be individually edited immediately. Deleted data should not be restored into active use except where necessary for security, legal, operational, or technical reasons.
7. Security
SimulArk uses reasonable technical and administrative measures such as access controls, hashing, server-level security practices, and operational review. No online service, OpenSimulator grid, database, VPS, viewer, or Hypergrid connection can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
8. Your Requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data associated with your account by contacting admin@simulark.xyz. We will respond where technically possible and legally appropriate. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for security, legal compliance, disputes, backups, or protection of the grid.
9. Minors
SimulArk is intended for users aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. If SimulArk discovers that a minor created an account or provided personal data, the account may be suspended or deleted and related data may be removed as required by applicable law.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated as SimulArk changes its services, technology, risks, legal duties, or operational practices. Material changes may require a new acceptance through the portal, login, or Hypergrid access page.
